interCaribbean Introduces flights to St. Vincent and the Grenadines

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, September 25, 2020: interCaribbean Airways can now boast service to 25 cities across the Caribbean region, with the latest addition of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Permission for operating to St. Vincent and the Grenadines was granted on August 21st, and now completes interCaribbean’ expansion into Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean. The airline will now offer service to and from all four Windward Island Nations: St. Lucia, Grenada, Dominica and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.  Three other countries are pending launch, and with the re-opening of Tortola now set for December 1, linking the Eastern Caribbean with the Western Caribbean becomes a reality.

Flight operations commenced from Barbados to St. Lucia, and Grenada on August 4th, 2020, and to Dominica on August 11th, 2020. Flights were timed to create connectivity between these cities.

Twelve weekly flights are planned to operate to and from St. Vincent beginning October 1st.

Having established interCaribbean Airways over 28 years ago, Founder and Chairman, Mr. Lyndon Gardiner is pleased to see the realization of his vision to become a true Pan-Caribbean airline. As someone born and raised in the region, it is gratifying to lead a great team of professionals as we expand, whilst providing this much needed air connectivity in the midst of the worst economic period in over 100 years.  I wish to thank our staff for their dedication and hard work as well as our guests for their trust and loyalty.
